Mary Gentile is a member of the board of directors at the Higher Ambition Leadership Alliance and the creator of Giving Voice to Values. Mary is a Professor of Practice at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and Senior Advisor, Aspen Institute Business & Society Program. She is also an independent consultant with a focus on management education and leadership development.
Mary has authored numerous books and articles, including the award-winning book Giving Voice To Values: How To Speak Your Mind When You Know What's Right. Her work remains a leading voice in the business curriculum for values-driven leadership and has been featured in publications such as Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review, McKinsey Quarterly, and more. She was a content expert for the award-winning interactive program “Managing Across Differences” (Harvard Business Publishing). Mary also partnered with Nomadic.FM to launch six online interactive modules around giving voice to values.
